avengers endgame seems flawed

in #endgame5 years ago

i will start by saying that i have not seen the movie yet. i dont want to give my money to disney, so im waiting until i can pirate it. i have watched a few people talk about the movie at this point though. and i have to get my thoughts on it down.

this seems like a very flawed movie, made by people that do not understand the "science" behind timetravle and multiverses. "i have seen 14 million futures, and we win in 1" in this movie, they establish that all those timelines/universes exist. there is a person as real as yourself in every one of them. the movie we watched here. is one timeline. and the problem is that we do not end in the original timeline. thanos won, so they abandone the universe, do a rick, and just take a new timeline. fixes it and lives there. fuck the old timeline we all know timeline b is the best one. there is no version of them in the orginal timeline anymore. there was a version of them in the one they go to.

(this is why rick is a criminal, he just take other timelines. fucks them over and leaves, instead of sticking to the story-line. dont want to go to deep in to timetravle fluff, but the rules are there so noone just abandons their story line.((the marvel universe is a propper multiverse that has beings that enforce timetravle rules like this. it goes very far down the rabbit hole in the comic world.i have not read the comics, but i do live by the rules of the multiverse, and did a propper study of the marvel universe to see how far it takes it, and how well it does it. it is a truly amazing way to learn the rules if you do not know them. )

as i have said, i have not watched the movie yet. i cant go to deep in to anything at this point. they dont seem to realize just how pointless this story is though. when you establish the rules like this. then this did not happen. the main story line is that thanos won. he won in 99,99% of the universes. what we saw was a mad mans fewer dream, and from how i understand it. it was not really better (missing lots of details for events here) the official marvel universe, is now with half its people, and its remaining heroes just abandoned them. we(you/they) just watched a side act. non of it happened. its the equivalent of waking up from a dream at the end of a movie. nothing really happened. in the multiverses all things exist. all things happened. there are universes where thor went for the head the first time. you are bound to one universe, to give events meaning. infinity war was the last movie. thats how the story ended. this is a spin of. it did not happen in our marvel universe. its a rebirth event, just super bad. whatever the character that did not join in on the timetravle is doing. is the official story line

this got a bit to long, il come back to it when the people in general realize just how hollow this is. if they do. multiverse science migth be a bit to advance for the maisntream crowd.

Sort:

just a side note. i am not saying its a bad movie. its probably a very high quality movie. just hollow.
