How To Play The Apple Game

Because apparently Apple wants you paying for an iPhone like you're putting a down-payment on a car.

1. Get the latest and best iPhone model for the year (lowest memory size 64gb recommended) on Black Friday. $1099 I went to Target and got a $250 gift card with the purchase.

**2.** Sell the gift card and put the money towards the phone. $849 left.

One year later - it's Black Friday again and the next iPhone already came out in September. You already paid off half of your phone. Roughly $425 left.

**3**. Sell it for maybe $825. (depending on how much users are willing to pay for it). Use the money to pay off the remaining balance and you still have $400 to put towards the next iPhone when you repeat the process. $650 if Target does the same deal.
Crunch the numbers and find out what you'd be paying over the next five years doing this. This is assuming that Black Friday keeps giving these good deals on iPhones. After two years of repeating the process - you'd only be paying around $200 every year for an upgrade theoretically speaking.

You can apply the same idea to Android phones. The idea is that you get the Black Friday deal and resell your phone before it gets older than 1 year so you can buy a new one easily. You could potentially save a lot of money in the long run.

Your payments are now a lot lower, you're always with a fast iPhone that Apple supports, and the battery won't need to be replaced. No need for the Apple Upgrade plan. Recent iPhone models have good resale value. You're welcome.
