In short:

Mega rich optimistic sociopaths (ASPD) don't commit suicides.
They fake their own deaths.

Imagine all the incriminating information Epstein had on all his high profile friends.
There's no way that information was going to go public.
Epstein also has the money and connections/resources to fake his death, create a new identity and continue his life elsewhere.

Noted, another theory is someone ordered a hit on Epstein.

Either way, Epstein's death is no way a simple "suicide".
