Today I want to talk about empowering Human Genius instead of an outside structure like a Company
In evolution we have been too caught up in taking care of survival basics so we haven’t really had super much time over to explore human genius, but times are changing
lovely vlog friend

yes, I agree with your point that certainly people have a lot of free time! :)
also good point made regarding pizza eating and all such stuff: amazingly, people are more willing to "consume" such a trivial "content". LOL
which means they are more up to this kind of "product", more virtual and digital - than for physical and tangible! it is indeed fascinating. especially because there is an unlimited supply for such form of "product". interesting to find out: what will be the demand? in the sense that: would eventually supply overcome the demand, as it happens with almost all the products?
also good point about nerds and geeks. that they are not very interested in money. exactly! :D may be that's why Steemit is not so much successful so far as it could have been otherwise, if its Devs (or those who hires them) would have a bit more pragmatic approach to the whole business model...
"may be that's why Steemit is not so much successful so far as it could have been otherwise" you are wrong here, Steem is highly successful, it's just a new Technology, adoption takes time
"adoption" is a word usually applied to cryptocurrency, as you also use word Steem.
while I was talking about Steemit platform. "adoption" is not really applicable to a platform. :)
STEEM coin by itself - doesn't show a lot of success comparing to many other cryptos.
as for Steemit - yes, it does have certain success, but mostly exactly due to that reason you've mentioned: that it was a first to make social network by using new technology of blockchain and crypto as rewards. yet it has still a long way to go to at least level of FB, YT, IG, etc.
not to mention newly emerging similar platforms.
its creator Dan has moved on, because as he said in one of interviews, certain issues can't be solved in existing system...
"STEEM coin by itself - doesn't show a lot of success comparing to many other cryptos" it's one of the most used daily Cryptos. To build Trust and Relationships.
"yet it has still a long way to go to at least level of FB, YT, IG, etc." you are aware that Facebook started in 2004? Instagram that came in 2010 is only around 2018 starting to be adopted by people to create a business around it. YouTube is from 2005. Only now 2018 businesses are starting to dive deeper into it and this Brand thing. That will say looking at Steem time frame in short term says nothing. As you need 5-10 years analytics.
"its creator Dan has moved on" so? The code is not dependent on Humans anymore, now it's all about proof-of-brain from Humans, how good they are at networking and building Trust and Relationships and use that leverage. Dan is looking at bigger tasks. Which is good that he does.
Steem Blockchain is just a small thing in a world that has bigger global issues. So you need people that dive into the larger things. As what he now does with EOS.
