As usual, Charlie (Emergency Awesome) does a incredible job on this review of Incredibles 2. They just released the trailer, and what I didn't realize, is just how long ago the original came out. 14 years since the original film dropped, and as Charlie points out, this is pre-Marvel Cinnematic Universe

I appreciate that in this review, he sprinkled in a few scenes from the original film. Including "honey, where's my Super suit!?" - if you have not seen the original, please find time for that! Great to hear that everyone is coming back, and this story will be picking up, just a couple months after the last one.

We can do that in the Cartoon universe.

The "no Capes Montage' deserves to be seen in it's full glory!!

As Charlie pointed out, the first film was 14 years ago. So much has happened since that film came out, including the incredible run of Comic book based "live action" films. I've personally always felt that it would be great to see more 'action oriented' CGI films, like the Incredibles.

While I'm excited and looking forward to seeing this one, I still wish someone would explore my idea of CGI based, reality driven stories, that would allow for some great storytelling, in a visually pleasing way. Mixing CGI with Real people is still an evolving technology that continues to get better.

Nothing quite like all-CGI though - such as Final Fantasy (the movie), and of course, The Incredibles.
