Embroidery bug design
2nd part of creating an ITH from a Scribble.
I have a brother innovis 800e and use PE Design 10 for creating embroidery files.
00:00 How to design the vector Image for a good Import:
Here i Show how you should design a vector Image to Import it into PE DESIGN 10.
It is important that no spaces overlap, cause the Program will cut them with the Import. you can see some mistakes in the Video. also the Program cannot Import hues. make flat forms. And lines with a thickness will be imported as Areas filled with a zickzack stitch. you will Need to redo them in the embroidery Software or use closed forms and cut them open (if it is easier for you to work with Illustrator).
so sum up:
-no overlap Areas
-no hues
-no lines with thickness
Export the design as an EMF file. Via export->EMF. hide all unimportant vectors.
00:30 Correcting the imported design in PE DESIGN 10:
For importing vector designs i do not use the "Wizard", so just Close it. then use "Import Patterns" and "from vector Image" and then you can select your file. The Program will size your file as big as the Surface size you selected. it wont Keep the size you did in Illustrator.
but you can resize it: select everything, right mouseclick ->numerical Settings -> size.
Ungroup the different parts and correct them. In this Video i wont Show how to use the different Options of the program. if there are enough interested i perhaps will make small chapters on the most important functions. after all you can download and watch all kinds of tutorials for this Software on YouTube and other platforms already;-)
