Do we become strangers after a breakup?

in #embrace6 years ago

Hey guys, have you ever wondered what happens to us after a relationship ends? Every kind of breakup has a time of mourning where we tend to"heal" or are supposed to do so. Amazing, isn't it? Since we have the power to distance ourselves from the people who were once so important to us, it is as if we were all disposable or easy to put aside. Many times it is necessary to walk away, but do you really need to ignore and forget that person? How much do you care about me? We are all capable of keeping memories, do not throw away memories that at some point kept you alive and that made you feel so many things... fear, joy, passion or sadness. I have always thought that we leave marks in the lives of everyone we meet and more in those we touch so deeply making the mark indelible.

Have you ever wondered how many times you have left someone important to you behind because of a mistake, disagreement or misunderstanding? I have always been in favor of not disconnecting from someone who was important in your life, despite their mistakes or yours that person left you something, learning and experience. Many times we are so childish that we do everything we can to make them disappear from their lives, blocking them, eliminating every trace of them in every corner of your life.

How does it feel? Are you feeling better?

Let's not fool ourselves, we never thought that we would become strangers, we would get so far away that we would miss birthdays as if they were normal, empty and unimportant dates.

After any kind of rupture, our bodies repel every person or feeling that connects us in a certain way with that"special" person who is no longer part of our lives, forgetting their smell, their touch, their laughter... why don't we dare to go on? Let's not let time erase memories, make us strangers to people we love at some point. Have we learned to love to forget? No, that's not true. Sometimes we are too immature to face situations, learn to understand them and act correctly. Why erase, let go, let go of those moments that electrified our bones and filled us with life?

Let's be honest with ourselves, if we had the courage to be part of someone's life, why do we become cowards after the breakup? It shouldn't matter to us how bad the experience was, that person left you with some kind of teaching that perhaps you will be able to thank for later.

Life has taught us that despite the bad times we as human beings have to hold on to those in whom we feel alive.

Okay, he or she cheated on you, mistreated you or hurt you in a way you never expected. Do you think that person deserves your hatred? Ignore them? Not at all, do not let the ghost of your past determine who you will be in your present or future.

However difficult it may be, don't become a complete stranger to the person who at any time marked your life or yours or hers or his.

We have to learn to accept our mistakes and that not everything is perfect. Let us be genuine to ourselves and not let anyone else affect us, embrace them and thank them for their experiences. Good or bad, you know how to deal with them if they happen again.

Thank You - Love - Forgive Me

Happy day, little ones.
