super obvious PayPal phishing scam
Just found this gem in my email:
outstanding...
not only is the english terrible,
but also the email address is insane:
no-reply@update.id.paypal-privacypolicyupdateaccountservicereminderaccountresoltuion.center.99-accountlive.mail.co.uk
and somehow the spam filter did not catch this -_-
LOL. This is ridiculous. At least the scammers make it look very obvious that it's a scam!
I get it in my spam folder regularly. It would be of greater concern if it got to my inbox though! Same type of stuff re bank account which I reported to the bank, whose only comment was that it was a very common problem :(
This is becoming very common and it is worse when it lands in your inbox rather than spam. Clicking on it can easily mess up your PayPal account. Thanks for highlighting it, its will help many of us.
The writers of these spam emails are so in need of a clue, any clue. ;-)
