Individualmente no se deben recitar los "yag midot" (13 atributos de misericordia, empiezan con "Vayaabor"), ya que este párrafo es considerado como Kadish, Kedushá o Jazará que no debe recitarse con menos de diez adultos presentes. Aunque si desea decirlo en forma de lectura, con la entonación original como se lee la Torá está autorizado; inclusive puede terminar con "venaké" (o sea, a la mitad de la frase) sin necesidad de acabar todo el versículo.
Igualmente este autorizado a decir el versículo del párrafo de "Kel Mélej yoshev", aunque está en él escrito el "Zejor lanu hayom brit shelosh esré" (que evoca a los trece atributos de misericordia.
No debe decir tampoco en forma individual los párrafos de las selijot que están en arameo si no hay minian. El motivo es claro: dado que los ángeles no conocen el arameo, no pueden ayudar subir su ruego al cielo, en cambio cuando hay minian, no es necesaria su participación por cuanto que la Presencia Divina se encuentra en el lugar. Por lo tanto cuando todavía no hay minian en la sinagoga, el jazán debe omitir los párrafos escritos en arameo y cuando se acompleta el minian dice los párrafos faltantes.
