Here is what the most influential man's typical week look like!

Elon Musk typically starts his days at 7:00 AM - getting no more than 6 hours of sleep. He'll skip breakfast and grab a cup of coffee if he has five minutes to spare. One of Musk's main strategies for running multiple billion dollar companies is spending five minutes on each task at hand. So this basically forces everyone dealing with Elon to cut all the bull sh*t and get straight to the point. One thing Musk never skips are showers - cue the sighs of relief.

It's estimated that Elon works 85 to 100 hours a week spending most of his time at Tesla - probably because it's a public company and investors want their returns yesterday. So on Mondays and Fridays Musk will spend time at SpaceX trying to figure out how to colonize Mars and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays he is in the Bay Area trying to figure out how to monopolize electric powered vehicles. Y Combinator mentioned that he'll spend about half a day working at his nonprofit called OpenAI.

So what does a billionaire mogul do on the weekends? On Saturdays, he is either at SpaceX working or with his 5 children. Elon said "What I find is I'm able to be with them and still be on email. I can be with them and still be working at the same time - If I didn't, I wouldn't be able to get my job done." As for Sundays, those are either spent traveling for business or relaxing in his Bel Air mansion.

Elon is constantly multi-tasking to keep up with all the work he has. He'll typically eat his lunch at a meeting and swallows it within 5 minutes. It's the business dinners and parties that Elon will tend to make up all the lost calories throughout the day. Musk has been known to throw raging parties where a knife-thrower was hired to pop balloons that were placed between Musk's legs - no we're not joking.
