in this diagram, you can see the building blocks of Eloncity Decentralized Energy Architecture (EDEA). resources of the eloncity microgrids are locally produced renewable energy and equipment such as BESS, PV arrays, small wind turbines, electric vehicles, DCbus Schedulers and other decentralized renewable energy assets. DCbus Schedulers manage the energy flow in the microgrid and BESS store the newly harvested energy. The blockchain-based trading system will manage the energy trading of this microgrid. Energy pricing is calculated based on information of both Eloncity’s artificial intelligence (AI) technology and community network.

as in any commodity , demand and supply equilibrium control the energy price in eloncity microgrid. intelligent networked BESS will control between energy demand and the supply. after a certain point of demand battry kicks in as a generators and fulfill the energy demand.

eloncity tokens are mainly used to facilitate the energy trading within the eloncity microgrid. also it can be use as a value store.
