What happens when you don't use water on the watercolor sheet ????

in #elegance6 years ago

Hey, my people.
wassup ????

So, as you know me now that I love to experiment a lot with new things like colors, materials, and mixing different forms of art forms with one another...

Today I want to share one of my recent experience.

It happened yesterday when I was preparing my another watercolor sheet for my new artwork.
Before spreading anything we always use water on the watercolor sheet.
But this time I thought of using direct ink on the watercolor sheet. I never did this before. I always use water before color or anything else.

I did my experiment with ink as I am working on my Inks and pens artwork series.

What's the difference if we use water and if we don't????
If we use water before coloring then color flows in a very smooth way... As watercolor sheet contain grains and soak liquidity that's the reason we use water before coloring and after that allow the color to flow easily.

If we don't use water then sheet will soak color or ink (any another material) directly and you will be not able to see the smooth texture or color strokes will be visible.

see the difference by yourself.
