ART EXPLOSION WEEK 46: Theme MASKS
Hey there Steemians!
This is my entry for the ART EXPLOSION WEEK 46: Theme MASKS contest, organized by @juliakponsford.
I drew Chloe, a woman who suffered severe burns on the right side of her face as a child, this happened during the battles that originated in the villages located near the forest. Since then he had to use a mask to hide the horrible scars. Many survivors of the battles hid in the caves in the forest, the young men became warriors, to defend their city, Chloe is one of them, but their greater vision is to make those responsible for those battles pay for the death of their parents. They call her the hunter of kings, she has killed two of them. Nobody knows their true identity, but they know they must fear him when they see the mask on his face. She is the most wanted woman, but also the most difficult to find, they say that she hides among the branches of the trees, tall grass or any natural element she can, her appearance uses it as a camouflage.
It's a character that i created, so i had to make a story, i hope you like it.
This is the result!
Materials i used: Faber Castell colors. Graphite pencil HB. A sheet of paper. Draft.
Enjoy the step by step below:
Step 1: I made the sketch, i used the HB graphite pencil and an eraser.
Step 2: Drawing the mask. With the black pencil, i made the dark eye, eyebrows and shading. At the same time i made the line between the eyebrow and the one that is lower than the eye, as a touch of personality.
Step 3: I painted the left side of the face, here i decided to paint green irises to match the clothes and hair, just like the character i had in mind.
Step 4: I painted the hair.
Step 5: Finally, i painted on the neck and clothes.

It is great that you worked on every strand of her hair meticulously, and the shading on her green cloth and how you painted her skin, all of these add quality to the final picture and make it better :).
