In this 2018, For the first time in the history of the Asian Games will be held simultaneously in two cities in Indonesia, namely the capital city Jakarta and Palembang as the capital of the province of South Sumatra. Several matches will also be held in Bandung, West Java provinces and Banten. The opening ceremony of the Asian Games was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta which was festive and awesome.

Pada tahun 2018 ini, untuk pertama kalinya dalam sejarah Asian Games akan diselenggarakan secara bersamaan di dua kota di Indonesia yaitu ibukota Jakarta dan Palembang sebagai ibu kota provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Beberapa pertandingan juga akan diadakan di Bandung, provinsi Jawa Barat dan Banten. Upacara pembukaan Asian Games telah diadakan di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno di Jakarta yang berlangsung meriah dan mengagumkan.
