haha, so true! I've never seen the film, but I love the books! I didn't really dare watch the film, afraid to get disappointed, because books are always better! :D
You are so right, I actually didn't like the movie at all, but in any way this script would probably be the hardest thing to put on a screen when everything seems so much better in our imagination...

I also really liked the book of Douglas Adams- Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
