AC Outlet Tester

This AC Outlet Tester is made up of readily available parts, nothing here is obsolete so getting them from your favorite Electronics Supply House should be no problem. Used to be you could go to the now defunct Radio Shack and find the parts, even in their end days now Mouser Electronics or even Electronic Gold Mine may have what you need.

This unit will help you to wire outlets correctly if you follow instructions on the schematic photo. By the way the schematic was drawn using TinyCad 2.60.01. I use this version because it works best. TinyCad can be had for free just Google TinyCad.
