RE: 16 days of literature: A spooky World
Ohhh this is such a sweet story, well, in a way :p
I love how it sets up the start with spooky and her mum, and it's so sweet and endearing, I do just love that bit so much ❤️ those humans named pigs! Genius way to tie in the prompt. And the pills effect being why everyone sees them as cute is a great play on how view's of ghosts and monsters have changed on a wider scale, and you paint the wider dystopian world here without every really stating it, simply through the perceptions of spooky and carrion.
But poor Spooky, first the humans don't react right, then she stumbles across a New Angel but at least she got to have a nice little blood dance! And a new adventure awaits ❤️
I really like how there is so much cute at the start, which quickly gives way to the more action for a great feign and contrast. Yey Spooky, she might be cute but she's full of scary ❤️❤️

Indeed, I was having fun with the pigs part of the prompt (and playing on USA hatred of unlikeable cops called “pigs” - a bit speciest as I know pgs are sweet, came from a farmer’s family so I would know). And indeed, Spooky’s story was a great vehicle (medium) to showcase the prompt and commentate on the drugged World and its view on Horror at this point. But at the same time, give way to showcasing the Horror of the Capitalist-reality which the dæmon cast was constantly confronted with but found courage to start taking down.
Indeed, poor Spooky~ At least she had her spirits high by the end of it and found the courage which her dæmon cast found.
They don’t call me the master of disaster for any reason... wait, wrong line... what else should I do to impress mój Ukochany?... make a plush of Spooky? Well that might work... when I meet her... Anyways, love playing on people’s expectations and playing Jester to get their attention!~
