Smart voters make up their minds without the ads, the ads are meant for the stupid. And Clinton didn't steal the nomination from Sanders, she won it. He wasn't a democrat, he ran as a democrat to give himself a better shot of winning. Democrats know he's not one of them, no shit they favored Clinton. If McCain had run as a democrat the democrats would have favored Clinton for the same reason.
