Now there are legitimate reasons one might not vote, but Monkey here doesn't want to hear it! Just think about this, if ALL of the non-voters would actually vote LIBERTARIAN, for example, as opposed to staying home? That would REALLY Get their attention! Yes! We are deciding between which lunatics will rule the asylum for the next two years, and I don't think I can really get any sane person to argue against that assertion LOL! it's basically the Steem term for miner, with the added level of difficulty of the popularity contest "voting"... the Top20 are mostly older steemians with lots of time and effort invested, which is good IMO, but it's very hard to break into the top earners. One must pretty much be "Top 100" to break even, and you need lots of friends and the witness should offer good D-Apps to the blockchain. Everyone needs a "hook" to get voters that do not know you yet. Even my good friend @crimsonclad, who is Top20 describes is as a "Labor of Love" because it takes mucho-mondo time and money. With current steem prices the Top20 are making less than 1/2 of their take as profits, is my understanding. And they get a block every minute ;)
