The Election... do something!

Well, here it is folks. Election Day. Get your American flags out and be happy that in a few hours you'll have elected a new President.

Only... it's not like that. Both of the leading candidates are, well, trash. Both deserve to face charges in a court of their peers. However, nearly no one in the government wants to stand up against them. Yes, there are some senators and rival candidates, but these don't hold the real power. Those who do have probably been thoroughly bought out.

So, what to do? Vote for a third-party candidate and hope they do well? Don't vote at all? We shouldn't be forced into this position in the first place, but here we are. Let's make the best of it, and vote for a third-party candidate of our choice. Not because they're the lesser of the evils, but because we actually care for our country. We want someone who can do the job properly to be president, not the the person with the most money or influence. Vote for them because you believe what they believe.
Sure, they might not win this time around, or even the next time. But each and every election they get more and more attention and receive more votes until one day they are popular enough to actually get a chance at winning. Don't be selfish, and don't just sit at home being lazy. Go out there and make a change: for us, and future generations.
