Let states block presidential candidates who don't release their taxes

It's a win for Trump, and here's why:

If California does prevents putting Trump on the ballot in California for the 2020 election because Trump does not reveal his taxes, Trump doesn't lose anything. He wasn't going to win California anyway.

However, and here's the good part, if the case goes before the Supreme Court and it's declared unconstitutional, the only thing the Court can do is invalidate all votes coming from Califormia. They will have to deny all California votes for that election. NOW the Democrats lose all those electoral votes.

If that happens, with all states that tried to change the election rules like this, then Trump will sweep the country in the first 100% election landslide.

So, this iodiocy the Democrats are trying has only upside risk for Trump.

If California protests their electoral votes not counting, what are they going to do seceede from the Union? California is being run on borrowed money, and money provided by the Federal Reserve printing press. California cannot print dollars. They will instantly go bankrupt and be unable to pay welfare checks and government employee checks, pensions and benefits.
