IQ (Intelligence Quotient) is a measure developed from a series ofstandardized test to measure and compare intelligence among humans. As human populations, IQ has been rising at an average rate of tree points per decadesince the 1930’s – this is called “The Flynn effect.”

Your brain is a Muscle. You need to exercise it regularly.

Theexciting thing is that you don’t have tobe a millionaire to increase your brain capacity. All you need to do is invest a little time to regularly train your brain.

The amazing fact about the brainis that no matter how smart or how old you are, you can always increase your intelligence. Some people are just naturally more intelligent than others, howeve, there are certain things anyone can do to increase their intelligence.

1. Explore Your Creativity

Everyone possesses some form of creativity. Thingking of new and interesting ways in which to do something old, or try something news. By exploring your creative side, you are also simultaneously improving your intelligence. Find exciting ways in which to channel your creativity.

2. Brain Games An Puzzles

Takesome time out to plays a challenging brain game or puzzle. These require thingking and concentrations and will help you focus. Even sudoku puzzle and crosswords can really pick your brain, making it sharper in the process.

3. Take Time To Clear Your Mind

With all of the stresses in life these days, it’s easy to get bogged down and overwhelmed. This can leaveyou feeling fuzzyand unableto thing straight, so to speak. Take some time to relax and ponder on your circumstances and often times you’ll realize some things just aren’t worth worrying about

4. Maintain High Levels Of Mental Activity

Intead of immediately reaching for the calculator or looking something uponline, try using the good old fashioned methods such as figuring out the problem using mathematics, or loking up informations in a dictionary or enciclopedia. This allows you to use your brain intead of modern technology to find solutions to the problems you encounter.

5. Train Your Memory

How often do you hear people say “i wish I had a better memory!’ yet no-one does anything about this!. If you discipline yourself to memorise phone number and other important number you will start to see a marked improvement in your memory.

6. Experience New Thing

When you experiencesomething ‘new’ you actually ‘simulate’ your brain! Don’t get stuck in a rut doing the same old thing – the only way to change the structure of your brain is to do something new. This creates new neural pathways, mcreasing your intelligence. You could take a new route to work, try a new recipe for dinner, or even a new form of exercise – mix it up!
