SPM
有些独中生没有考统考直接用 SPM進学院的
更多则是预备一条后路 万一统考考砸了 还有 SPM可以用来申请学院（当然就浪费了一年读高三，不过免不了的）
最重要的是，不管学历多高，哈佛耶鲁墨大都好，日后如果要在马来西亚申请工作也是要看 SPM的，所以 SPM不考不行
我有一个同学当年没有报考 SPM，教务主任亲自上课室来问他为什么不报考，他说觉得 SPM 没有用。于是教务主任就跟他说了上面这堆道理，他还是不肯报考。最后教务主任要求他叫他父母亲自写一封信表示他们知道自己孩子没有报考 SPM，并认同这个决定
所以独中是很重视 SPM 的
