Recognizing the Peter Pan

In the previous publication I told them a bit on the persons that they are afraid to growing, the syndrome Peter Pan, today I will comment on them on some important aspects to identify in children with these characteristics.

Analyzing the principal personage of this movie, Peter Pan in an adult for his age, but according to his behavior he is a child, as it happens with the persons that they present this syndrome, they demonstrate a not harmonic development between his chronological age and his behavior.

The normal conduct of a person in the stage of the childhood is to re-go, to cry, to play, to wish things, to live in a world of fantasy, and as it grows understands the limits between the own needs and her of others, to come to the maturity, nevertheless, in the Peter Pan these limits do not exist.

How does it start developing?

It begins in the first infancy, when the children are considered to be the center of the universe and the adults we guarantee this feeling satisfying all his needs, it is not bad completely, always we want to consent our small ones, the important thing is to have clear that as the boys are growing they must learn that all his requirements not always will be fulfilled of the form or in the moment that they it request. They must learn that a schedule exists to play, to eat, to sleep ... they must learn that the bed of his dads is not it of them. It is important that the parents without stopping being loving, establish the limits, avoid the overprotection and be observant, if a seven or eight-year-old child is too infantile, it can be developing this syndrome.

What does it make a Peter Pan?

The boys who start developing this syndrome shelter in a world of fantasy that they construct in his mind, Peter bread has a problem, blames all what happens, does not become a person in charge; this way they are these children, scare at the responsibilities, in addition they are dreamy, it is difficult to them to fulfill his assignments, they are forgetful, they are not interested in anything that is related in spite of growing and they are impeded to compromise.

As parents or adults to post, it is suitable to support these children, to praise the positive of his personality, but also to face them with the reality, in order that this way they assume the consequences of his actions daily; to assign responsibilities without exceeding in agreement to his age enough good works in them, and mas when his effort is valued, this reinforces his autoesteem, provides autonomy to them and allows them to grow.

To conclude, we as parents or adults to post are the persons in charge of whom this conduct is kept or not in our children up to coming to the adulthood, for what it is ours must educate them with confidence in his potentials, and it is achieved accompanying them and guiding them in each of the stages in order that they turn into responsible adults.
