Continuing Education While Long Term Traveling Part II
Since I made the mistake of posting information on Education while traveling over at our website travel blog channel @exploretraveler I thought I should follow up with some additional information.

"My goal was to validate what I have learned for my own personal use. However these credits can also be combined into a degree if you are interested. I use Thomas Edison State University to keep track of all of my credits, and have supplied their transcript on the rare occasion I have needed too. The school has many degree programs to choose from, and does a good job importing my transfer credits from Universities around the world.

Young people can learn allot from reading as there is a tremendous amount of free books or low cost books on a tremendous amount of subjects. This learning has value, and should not be overlooked just because you didn't read the material while enrolled in a University study program. The current USA university system is now being run on the concept of student loans, and the cost of the classes have been raised due to the access of this easy money from the US government. Attending the university can be a great experience but why spend excessive money on classes that can be easily tested out of, and recognized by almost all Universities as transfer credit.
By saving money on these classes you can use your tuition money on classes that are specific, and hard to come by. This in turn will reduce your overall debt load upon graduation, and limit your financial stress as well.
Better yet if you are in high school maybe consider working forwards an associates degree that you can fulfill with DSST CLEP and AP.
Using the tool spread sheet, and guide on this page you will have a general idea as to how you can get starting in the planning phase. There are many sources available online that are evaluated by ACE and this can also help you on your quest for low cost credits to fulfill your degree.
I will post a few doable degrees from just testing , and explain some of the issues you may have finding the appropriate testing center in part III.
