Exercises to calm, relieve stress

Sometimes there are people who have time to help when we need someone's help. But there are times when they may not be around. But there are always things that we can do ourselves.

I will show you exercises that you can do whenever you want and where you want. They will help you calm down and relax, regardless of whether you are angry, worried or feeling great. Relaxation can help us stay creative!

From time to time, we will practice soothing exercises so that you can perform them yourself, whenever you want to calm down or just "slow down the pace."

• Exhalation and inhalation of air

Sit comfortably on the floor or on a chair with crossed legs. Put your hands on your knees, your eyes are closed. Slowly breathe out all the "old" air as if you were blowing a balloon. Let this air come out completely. Breathe it in the so-called "balloon", which will eventually fly away from you.

Do this exercise on account 1.
Maximally slowly inhale the fresh clean air with your nose, into account 2.
Exhale the air with your mouth to score 3.
Inhale the fresh air with your nose to score 4.
Keep doing this, counting to 10.

See how these balls fly away, filled with hot air.

Soothing exercise
When we are frightened or worried, our body is often too tense. This exercise will help to relax and feel more comfortable.

• Stress and relaxation

Sit comfortably. Wrinkle your forehead (so if you were angry), then relax. Pinch your eyes, then relax. Frown your nose (so if you were about to sneeze), then relax. Squeeze your lips (almost in a straight line), then relax. Open your mouth wide and stick out your tongue like a lion, then relax your mouth. Blend your teeth, and then yawn as widely as possible. Feel how relaxed your face is. Raise your shoulders up, down to the ears, then lower them. Pull your arms straight (elbows are not bent), then relax. Gather your fingers in a fist, then relax your fingers. Tighten your legs from the hips to the toes, then relax. Bend your toes, then straighten. Give your body a sense of heaviness, and then feel how good it is when the body can relax.

• Hand with hand

Become a circle. Ask the children to raise their right arm up, and then bring it to the left side of the body. Ask the children to raise their left hand, while leaving their right hand near the left side of the trunk, and stretch it to the right side of the trunk. Ask each child to take the left hand of the neighbor's right hand (which is on the right), and the right hand to the left hand of the neighbor on the left (which stands on the left). After all the children have joined hands, ask them all around to move to the left and stop, and then - to the right, and also stop. The circle can move to the rhythm of the drum or to the sounds of the song that children play.
