Holistic Education 整全教育

A holistic education is inevitable for the emerging generation. This new generation is privileged to enjoy a higher standard of living than the ancient kings.

However, many of the new generation are pampered kids or liberal victims. Those who are pampered have not learned the skill to handle their emotion. Whatever they ask from their parents and grandparents are usually granted. And seldom do they face a “no” answer towards their request. If their request is not met, it can become a rejection. There was a case about a young man who wanted to pursue after a girl he liked. But the girl declined to have a relationship with him. He was upset and feeling rejected. Consequently, he drove his car trying to kill the girl.

Another big country that advocates freedom is facing moral deterioration. There are gun shots caused by people with unstable emotion from time to time. Consequently, quite many innocent people were killed.

Therefore, a better education should enable people to acquire knowledge as well as wisdom. They are to be equipped to become informative and innovative. Nevertheless, the so-called better education cannot be referred to as being holistic unless it has also factored into character formation. Hopefully, the countries that emphasise relevant education for the emerging generation will truly reengineered their curriculum through which the students are equipped to be informative, innovative and people of character. By being the people of character, they are able to discern the trends and more likely to be a blessing to others.

今天新兴的一代是無可避免的需要整全教育。新一代已经享有比古代国王更高的生活水平。

然而，许多新生代都是娇生惯养的孩子或是自由主义受害者。那些被宠壞的人没有学会如何处理自己的情感。无论他们向父母和祖父母要求什么，通常都会理所当然的获得，他们很少在提出要求时面对到”不”的回答。一旦他们不能满足自己的要求，就可能导致強烈的拒绝感。曾经有一个案例是关于一个年轻人想追求自己喜欢的女子，但是这个女孩拒绝和他發展关系。他很不高兴，也感觉被拒绝了。结果，他开车试图杀死那个女孩。

另外一个主张自由的大国正面临道德堕落。並不时有情绪不稳定的人造成了枪击悲據，结果不少无辜者被杀害了。

今天更好的教育应该使人们获得知识和智慧。他们将被装备成为有知识及创新能力。尽管如此，所谓更好的教育並不等於是整全教育。除非它的系统还包括了品格朔造。希望那些强调要为新生代提供適当教育的国家会真正重新设计他们的教育课程，让学生能够具备知识，创新能力和高尚品格。通过高尚品格，他们能够分辨潮流，并更可能的成为其他人的祝福。
