TUDA: The Second Phase of our Educational Platform

in #education6 years ago (edited)

Greetings Steemians,

Team TUDA hopes everyone had a wonderful weekend. Our next post is about the second portion of the service, our crowd-sourced problem solving platform, which has yet to be named. To summarize, our first service focuses on building up a community of teachers utilizing our SMT-based platform with an added benefit of having a host of utility abilities (such as calendar and student management capabilities) so that teachers can pivot from a pencil-and-paper-based life to a digital management system.

To take a page out of our whitepaper, in forming a robust community of teachers, we are creating a problem-solving service. Such a service lets anyone upload a problem. Such a service allows anyone to upload a problem set that they are having difficulties in solving, and have our community of teachers crowdsource the solution (also allows parents to participate at a limited capacity). Teachers and counterparties that actively participate and interact within the problem solving platform are rewarded with TUDA tokens. Tokens are used within our ecosystem and enhance the platform, both as a monetary transaction or as a vote in our voting system. Also, as the TUDA platform accumulates data, we are offering data analysis on students’ performances (big data driven AI chat bot and feedback/suggestion engine to guide parents). Of course, these problems sets are solved with a TUDA token transaction from the get-go.

While this service may seem similar to a lot of educational companies out there today, as there are many crowd-based problem solving solutions out there, we are differentiating ourselves with our engrained use of the SMT protocol.

  1. Teachers can’t know everything. Therefore, teachers can ask other teachers for help with certain problems in the teacher-based application. Students do not have access on this platform.

  2. Education should be accessible to all. While free-market initiatives enable students to pay with TUDA tokens for teachers to solve certain problems, this is not a pre-requisite. Students can upload a problem for free and teachers are incentivized to answer with the SMT protocol.

  3. This type of crowd-based problem solving allows for big-data analysis, which is transparent and accessible to everyone. Our platform also gauges teachers in their ability to teach students. Rigorous curation from our community allows our platform to verify a teacher's abilities.

With this said, it may seem like we are catering just to teachers, but this is not the case! TUDA is an educational community. It is open to educational professionals who are not interested in teaching, but furthering educational information via not only our forum capabilities, but also our chat functionalities.

Thanks for taking time to read our post!

Best Regards,
Team TUDA

Teacher based application is a great idea. 👌

Do you guys have a Discord channel yet?

Not yet. We are currently working on a international platform so that all communication can occur on the TUDA platform.
