Seems like a pretty good code to live by. Definitely don't wake me for herd duty if it's not my turn.
What if you have dual tires in the back because you tow things? Regardless, I have all regulation tires on my vehicle.
haha! I commented about the tire thing on another comment. oh boy. the Code should be followed to the letter today. especially all the whiskey stuff.
Yeah, I wouldn't follow the whole code. I like saving money too much to spend that much on shots of whiskey. I'd rather have coins of silver. ;)
but you could have both! the more whiskey the more silver you'd buy because you wouldn't have any control!
The more whiskey I'd buy, the less money I'd have... and the more other poor decisions I would make. I like my control, thank you very much! :P

I think there are a lot of people in this world who could do with a lot more self-control. Cutting out some alcohol would be a good start for them.
hhaaaha..but Blondie whiskey is a big part of the Cowboy Code! if you cut that out it's not the same. you'd have to rewrite the Code. lol.
apparently that was the thing to do back then and you had no choice if you were to be accepted. I'd have to pay the bartender to pour me those teas or colored water drinks like he did for the dance hall girls, then I could drink up a storm!
I'm with you there on the tea. I really enjoy a nice cup of tea. I wouldn't want to waste all my money though. I like saving. Maybe I would buy the tavern and sell the whiskey.
