RE: Education for humans not cattle. Education 2.0

I think the AR system is a viable option that can not only grow exponentially and be localised at the same time, it can also be supported in a myriad ways by the 'old school' teacher types, experts and the like. It would be a system that may start off quite limited but would grow quickly as people explore the world.

The other benefit is that it is very cheap once running. In Finland from 1-12 years it costs about 20,000 euros per child in formal education. In time, it will be the cost of a headset/glasses etc. I have a post on the go about it but haven't got around to finishing it. perhaps you have inspired me to pick it up once more.

Post it! We need more information on education and how to improve it. It's the thing that keeps a lot of people in the past. I don't know the specifics of every country, but from my homeland, I can tell that nothing changed. The same buildings with rooms and blackboards and teachers that talk for 45 minutes and examine for 15 min. Children in rows, they don't have the autonomy. They can't learn what they want at the time; they have to follow the pre-decided structure. No flexibility, no responsiveness to individuals. They treat everyone the same. You have to know this information like it or not.
