How The Face of Children Education in Remote Villages in Indonesia

in #education7 years ago

Every citizen has the right on Education and that's has been regulated in law. Therefore, every individual should compete to get the best education possible. In fact, there are some people who choose to leave Indonesia to study in abroad such as egypt, madina, america, australia, and neighboring countries as such as malaysia , of course, with funds that are not little. This is inversely proportional to the condition of education in disadvantaged areas. Far in the corners of the archipelago (indonesia), the successors of the nation even some who have not known the alphabet. For rural people, education is still underestimated. Worse, the government as a regulator of educational policy was unfair on education systems and infrastructure in remote areas.

A very contrast difference can be seen when comparing school facilities in large cities with schools in remote areas. In public schools in Jakarta, it certainly has its own building, sports field, laboratory, library with complete books, computer laboratories and teachers who have studied teacher education. Meanwhile, schools in remote villages sometimes do not have their own buildings, so they have to share, for example between elementary and junior high school, the library room seems quiet, there is no computer that students can use to open the horizon. Teachers who teach are mostly high school graduates and have not received any teacher training. The government seemed to choose love in pouring education funds. For remote areas, they deeply feel the injustice.

Supposedly, the government can be more wise and can flatten the education system in this country. Do not let the gloomy faces of education in remote areas continue to be preserved. The real evidence of educational gap in remote areas is schools in remote villages which a little far from the education service center and seemed isolated because of the hilly and steep natural topography. and school buildings that still have roofs of rumbia and bamboo walls. Until now, the government does not seem to do much in advancing education in Indonesia. Incomplete facilities and less professional teachers become one of the obstacles to the growing interest in learning the rural communities. However, all the shortcomings in educational facilities do not dampen the intention of the children of the nation to go to school. Evidently, many students who are willing to walk tens of kilo meters to gain knowledge. Many also have to pass a deep river to go to school. It should be, the spirit of the students in this underdeveloped area is what we make motivation. So education in Indonesia could be better again. Hopefully, the face of education in this country can shine like a sun for. Not only for the citizens of the capital, but also for the successors of the nation in remote corners of the archipelago.
