RE: [LEARN & EARN - Week #14] What did you learn in the last couple of days? **2 STEEM BOUNTY**

in #education7 years ago

Gosh, it seems like ages ago since I last came across one of your 'Learn and Earn'- posts. It probably is ages ago too. It's great to see you still keep this going.

I'll probably remain an occasionally passenger forever. I do learn every day, but I never take the time to make those things tangible by writing them down. I also have a very bad memory, so I'll probably never manage to write one thing down for every day of the week. That same bad memory also allows me to learn certain things over and over again, lol.

But naming three things off the top of my head I can do. Definitely because I just had a couple of very interesting days.

First of all, I learned that I had forgotten how much I liked engaging here on SteemIt. I have been so focused on Steemmonsters these last couple of weeks, that I lost all touch with the community. During the last two or three days, I commented and replied more than during the last weeks. And I'm enjoying it to the fullest. I had really forgotten how much fun it was to interact with the community.

I also got the opportunity to learn something very important about myself (I should say 'again', because it is also something I keep forgetting). Actually, it were multiple lessons-in-one - it's a bit hard to find the right words to explain exactly, but I'll give it a try anyway.
I always look up to people, and consider myself not being capable of doing a lot of things. In short, I have pretty low self-esteem. Yesterday, I learned that I shouldn't think I'm less than the people I look up to. I waste a lot of time and energy overthinking everything, living from the mind instead of from the heart. But I learned that when a situation occurs that requires me to act instantly - in this case it was a friend who was in need - I cán shut down my mind, forget about all the fears I have for saying or doing something wrong, and act without thinking, straight from the heart.
And I also learned that if I do so, I'm actually pretty good at it too, lol. :0)

Hahaha trust me I know this :DD

Oh nice, you've always been a monster freak haha :D I remember your tutorial posts on how to level up cards and somehow make them playeble sooner or something like that. And? Did you win some tourneys? Im stoked the automated ones finally arrived, Challonge was pain in the ass...

Nice to seeyou can act on instict..I also sometimes lack in that department and overthink stuff too much.

Hah, thanks, you're always welcome to be an occasional passenger :D We never forget our first sponsor :))

That tutorial was indeed mine. :0)
I play a lot of tourneys, but only won a few. Won a little over 100 Steem in all these months. Overall, I miss the talent others have. In the beginning, I could win just because I had the deck... Since automated tourneys are here, I haven't been so lucky, except for one day earlier this week: 1 win, 2 3rd places and an 8th place that awarded me with a legendary summoner. Everything seemed to work out like I wanted to - once again I got the proof that I should't think to much.

Lol, I don't have a clue how often I will need to learn that lesson before I will finally get it 😂
