Paying off Student Debt - Vol ll

So 10 days in and I still have a lot to do, but I feel good about the progress I have made on the construction. Also, come Monday I'm depositing around $800 into debt depending on what I make this weekend. Some people may cringe at the large payments I make. But I enjoy it. I enjoy depriving them of their ill earned gains, the damned leeches.

if you are new to the blog, what I am doing is building a secret room in that I can live in, rent free, to pay of my student debt quickly.

Anyhow....

Running some extra wire through conduit. Red wire for residential and commercial applications is unusual in the US from what I have seen. anyways it looked to be about 12 gauge so it should handle at least 15 ampsbat 110 VAC. which is all I need. I need to slap a junction box in there but I don't have one at the moment.

Framing up nice! Be honest with ya tho, my cuts and measurements are quick and dirty. Starting on sheetrock too

throwing up some R15 batt insulation into the ceiling. blast yourself off with an air compressor after using this kind of insulation and when you take a shower and make sure it's cold water first.Hot water will make your pores open and get scratchy fibers in them.

I made a window box for the ceiling, so sunlight could come the warehouse vent. Its a crude, made from 2x4s and a sheet of acrylic. Acrylic likes to crack with drilling and cutting. Special bits are made for it but, I just used Milwaukee Black Oxide. BTW, they are the onky drill bits they sell at home depot that are good for drilling steel. I actually would not recommend any drill bit or tap from home depot for working with steel butif you need some on a Sunday at 8 they are your best bet. I was pretty careful but still got a crack. I just sealed that when I caulked the window
