Eligibility Criteria KCET 2019
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test known as KCET is a state level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority every year. Candidates can obtain admission to various engineering and technical courses throughout the state of Karnataka after qualifying for the KCET exam. Students should make their best efforts to decipher the KCET entrance exam. The courses offered at various institutes in Karnataka are B.Tech, B.Sc in Agriculture, B.Sc in Vetrinary Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering and other technical courses. Candidates can also be admitted to other medical courses such as MBBS, BDS and AYUSH when they qualify for the NEET exam. For admission to B.Arch, the NATA qualification marks will be accepted. The exam mode in KCET is offline and is based on a pencil. This article will provide all the information about the KCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria. The KCET online application form will start from the first week of February and end the last week of March 2019. There are 220 participating institutes in the KCET exam. The KCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria will be 10 + 2 approved with 45% in three subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology (in the case of the reserved category, it is 40%). The eligibility criteria of KCET 2019 also include citizenship, subject combination, academic qualification, residential address, qualification grades and categories. The KCET application form that does not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected.
Eligibility criteria KCET 2019 on nationality and residential base
To take the KCET exam, candidates need the citizen of India.
Candidates must pass 10 + 2 of the recognized board of the state of Karnataka.
Candidates must have studied a minimum academic qualification period of 7 years up to the 12th standard at the time of taking the KCET exam.
Selected candidates must present their permanent residence certificate during the counseling time.
KCET 2019 eligibility criteria based on academic qualification
Candidates must pass the 10 + 2 exam of a recognized board of the state of Karnataka with 45% in subjects such as Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics / Biology as one of the compulsory subjects and any of the subjects such as Biology / Electronics / Biotechnology / Computing .
Candidates who belong to the category reserved as Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class in Category I (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) must obtain 40% in three combined subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates must have a subject in English throughout their academic qualification.
If a candidate obtains a lower grade in one of the three subjects such as chemistry, the qualifications obtained in one of the subjects such as Biology, Biotechnology, Computer will be taken into account.
Candidates are eligible for the BKCET 2019 exam once they obtain the result of the qualification exam.
Candidates from the Karnataka State Open University are not eligible to apply for the KCET exam.
Candidates must qualify for the NATA exam (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and JEE 2 to be admitted to the B.Arch course.
