Today we're going to tackle about the types of knowledge. Various types of knowledge we receive and process through the senses. We use five different learning modalities which is hearing, vision, touch, taste and smell. Hearing and vision are receptors of knowledge and not expressers of such knowledge. To understand knowledge we must be able to identify it's types. Knowledge is very important. It is what we use in everything we do everyday in our life. We use it for making new connection and creating meaning. It is what we learn from our studies and from everything that knowledge would exist.

Knowledge should be integrated between the old and the new fact to maintain structural equilibration. As the learners develop a series of cognitive functions they increasingly become more sophisticated in solving problems. And so as they move from certain thoughts limitations two more is structured line of thinking they develop concept formation that is aided by knowledge acquisition.

The followings are types of knowledge:

• Episodic acknowledge. Refers to our biographical memory reflecting not only what happened, but also where and when it happened. In other words these makeup our live as individual beings. We have our individual and personal histories that make up who we are. For instance our names, birthday, zodiac signs, the members of our family are episodic information. It means that the memories of our childhood days, power first day in school, or cell phone numbers of our loved ones are all examples of episodic knowledge.

• Semantic knowledge. Semantic knowledge is in contrast episodic knowledge, deals with memories and information that are not tied our personal biographies. Semantic knowledge refers to generalization, concept, fact, and their associations. What we eat this morning for our breakfast is a forum of episodic knowledge, but the information that we should eat like a king in the morning and like a puaper in the evening is an example of semantics knowledge. The organized knowledge about facts and generalizations including their associations forum part of our semantic knowledge. Remembering our first day in school is an example of episodic knowledge. However when we consider the information that there is always the first time in everything we do, we are exhibiting the knowledge of semantics. Much of what we need to remember in order comport ourselves within a situation and in order for us to be familiar with the new situation, or organize ourselves in relation the time and space has something to do our episodic knowledge. Additionally what the school should provide is semantic knowledge.

Semantic can be declarative or procedural.
• Declarative knowledge deals with the statement of truth it also deals with what we know about the world. This type of knowledge accounts for knowing what.

• procedural knowledge is the knowledge about how things are to be done. If procedural knowledge is concerned with knowing how, declarative knowledge accounts for the act of being, while procedural knowledge explain the process of becoming. Many of the task and activities required of us call for both declarative and procedural knowledge. Declarative knowledge alone is not enough to provide understanding because procedural knowledge is also important.

The legitimate power of knowledge

Knowledge that is true and legitimate can be use meaningfully and can work for our most honest human endeavors. Dealing with its legitimate power with understanding its processes. To be considered legitimate knowledge has to undergo basic processes such as it's rational, empirical and pragmatic stage.

Knowledge is rational if it's based on correct premise. That is if we have correct premise then it's logical. Knowledge is empirical if it can be verified. For something to be empirical it has to be measurable and reliable. It must be noted however not all measurements are empirical. Our knowledge is meaningless unless given correct interpretation. When we say pragmatic we refer to practical results. Our knowledge should be practical to make such knowledge useful. Succinctly specific knowledge can be applied or use in real life situation. If not then such does not possess the legitimate power for it lacks usability and practicality. It is legitimacy equates utility and feasibility or practical applications.

In fact it is one that can build an empire and the same thing that can topple it down. Thank you so much for spending your time reading this, I do hope that it could give us more information and ideas additional to our learnings. Remember that "Learning becomes knowledge and knowledge becomes power. Thank you and God bless to all of us.
