Agronomic managings for the culture of the banana

I want to share with you my experience in the visit to a unit of production of banana, located to the south of the lake of the condition Zulia - Venezuela, whose item performs great importance in the supply of the Venezuelan

The banana (_Musa paradisiac _), is a fruit of the family of the musáceas that possesses a high place contained of calories and potassium. It performs great importance since it can generate a profitable and sustainable production that allows a self-supply for the country giving him the agronomic suitable practices.

In this visit I learned the agronomic managings that it is necessary to him to give to the plantation to have a good performance, these are:

** Descepe **: Elimination of the seudotallo.

** Deshije **: It is the practice where the not productive children and the not wished ones are eliminated according to the system selected to shape the unit of production.

** Son **: it is the descent that is leaving the plant.

** Son of sword **: He is the son who is characterized for presenting strenuousness and development; his leaves are thin and end in top.

** Water son **: With little vigor due to his nutritional deficiency, develops broad leaves.

** Defoliation **: It consists of the elimination of the leaves that are drying off and losing functionality and those that have doubled.

** Fertilization **:

Phosphorus: Development of roots, growth of the plant.

Nitrogen: Development of the plant, it forms a part of the proteins and of the molecule of chlorophyll.

Potassium: Development of the cluster (quality), it intervenes in the photosynthesis and breathing.

** Control of undergrowths **: This practice performs great importance since the not wished plants compete for water light and nutrients, which brings as consequence the reduction of the performances and fruits of low quality, they shelter insects and pathogenic, besides being a refuge of snakes and other plagues.
