Social Engineering- Using Social Media to mind Control

From Wikipedia, Social engineering, in the context of information security, refers to psychological manipulation of people into performing actions or divulging confidential information.

In my opinion, I would like to think it as some form of weapon used against individuals subliminally that makes them acts against their freewill in a supposedly free world. The question is, are we all living free in a World that's suppose to be free?

A quick reference is the entertainment industry, politicians harness this tool to twist the mind and influence the mass in election process as it was alleged in the Facebook Data Breach saga. Furthermore, social media alongside mainstream media are globally embraced phenomenon, hardly would there be a spot on Earth without the influence of these two avenues.

Let me use a word that people hardly pay attention to as I take it from a verse from the Holy Bible to Buttress my point, in Galatians 5: 20;

"Idolatry, witchcraft, hatered, Variance, Emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies.

Emulating celebrities and stars is kids and even adult do mostly, a critical problem in our society, it often leads high crime rate, "gangsterism", drug life, wayward living, life of Crime and Violence, Sodomy, sexual immorality and many more sins links back to Emulation.

An average teen wants to be like a rapper or a RB singer, they dress like them and end up mimmicking their lifestyle, some adore and worship celebrities to the extent of idolatry, nothing hinders you to do what your idol do even when it's crime.

A lot of people have been brain washed and polluted by Social Media, kids don't pay attention to training and studies like different social platforms springing up day-in, day-out as Technology keep saying advancing, this make it a more sophisticated way to mind-control an average citizen.

As human evolve, so is Social Engineering, different apps and virtual games are been developed and deployed that taps into the consciousness of man, woman, boy, girl and this ends up creating a dysfunctioning part of the human body.

A typical example is a virtual game that was created in the United Kingdom that was allegedly making teenagers to commit suicide. What form of dark and appalling social engineering game is that? If you ask yourself.

Call it a conspiracy theory, call it a hoax, but the message are real, pay less attention to mainstream media and social media, these are complex tools used to mess with the mind of unsuspecting innocent kids, adults.
