INSECURITY IN NORTH-EASTERN NIGERIA... RELIGION AND ILLITRACY THE CATERLIZING ELEMENTS( my take)

ITRODUCTION (part one)
In the light of what has been a major problem in nigeria, specifically the north-eastern region that has been engulfed by the menence of Boko Haram terrorism since 2009, which has lead to the destruction of precious lives & properties worth millions. as I try to look at the root-cause of this problem, in as much as the Truth remains that it was(it is) political. the question one needs to ask is ' what has been the factor(s) that has kept this problem lingering or even getting worse for almost a decade' now? as such, I have come to the realization that two key factors are responsible which are RELIGION AND ILLITRACY

the question that may be running through your mind now is how is religion and illitracy the major contributing factors to the seemingly never-ending boko haram terrorism in nigeria? in presenting my view on the above points, I will try as much as possible to be objective and logical
for today, I will be looking at illitracy and education as it concerns these subject
education
what is education? education can be seen as the wealth of knowledge acquired by an individual after studying a partucular subject matters or experiencing life lessons that provide an understanding of something.

  looking at nigeria and the north-eastern region, it is being characterized by high level of poverty, which comes as a result of lack of economic growth, poor health conditions as a result of the lack of medical infrastructures/facilities etc which are also products of bad/ill-educational system that is also related to the psychology of the people towards education, which has for generations lead to their preference of Religion over education. https://academic.oup.com/ojlr/article/3/2/311/1379483.
  looking at some the benefits of eduction as listed above, education also trains the mind to think and act objectively and logically. the boko haram issue, I thriving in northeastern nigeria as a result of the lack of logical thinking minds. because why/how would a reasonable human being accept being tight with explosives to kill himself others with the myth of having seven vegins in reward?hmm!
  in next post, I expantiate more on the above and on religion as caterlizing factors to the problem of terrorism in nigeria and particularly in the northeastern region.
