Islam does not forbid wealth, fame and position. But, all three are not the only indication of success. All three are just one of the means to be successful. In Islam, success can not be marked by happiness in the world alone, but also happiness in the afterlife.

At least there are some things that mark the success of a Muslim. First, his life is useful to others. This is in line with what the Prophet SAW said, that the best of humans is beneficial to others.

Second, prioritize the process and enjoy success. Happiness is impossible to approach people who never aspire. But, he also can not approach the dreamers. Although often intersect, but the ideals and dreams are two different things. A Muslim must have a high aspect, although not necessarily achieved. These ideals will be the engine of one's life.

Third, live in balance. Nature and its contents are created full of balance. Creatures are created in pairs to balance. If there is a mountain, then there is the valley. If there is white, then da black. People who live a balanced life, will experience discomfort, anxiety and complaints. Those who work without rest, will feel tubunya fatigue, tired and lethargic. Conversely, a person who has too much rest will feel his body stiff, weak and not enthusiastic. That's life. He must be balanced.

Fourth, husnul khatimah. Success is not determined at the beginning of the journey of life. Like a trader, loss and profit can only be known at the end of the sale. That's life. Success and failure of one's life is seen at the end of his / her life. Not a few people are adored like a hero, but his death was blasphemed. They were originally rich, but eventually died in humiliation.
