Homeschooling Benefits and Help

in #education7 years ago

Hello Friends,

Here I am Lucia again trying to find a good and virtuous topic to inscribe and share at the same time to learn about.

So the topic for today is "Homeschooling".

A few years ago, a grandchild came to live with me who has problems in school. He had poor attention span and was loud in class. That, however, was only part of the problem. He also had intestinal incontinence and at the ages of 6-8 years it was difficult to endure for teachers and students. After he was sent home at one hour of arrival for several excuses, I decided to go home to school.

As my level of education was high with university degrees, obviously the task was not going to be so difficult. In fact, it was so easy and so much fun for the two that he picked up pretty quickly. He was attentive and easy to handle. Explaining things to him individually meant that he absorbed lessons easily.

There was also a lot of help available in the community. There were even meetings with other students from the school at home. They could play and interact as they would on a playground or classroom. The parents got along well too.

If someone is in a situation where the alternative to homeschooling is a bad situation, then do not hesitate to assume it. Anyone who has attended primary school and passes without problems will have a great experience refreshing their memory and exposing their knowledge.

Books are also available for parents to use to help students. They get the same textbooks as in a class with the added advantage that lessons can continue once a topic has been introduced. It is surprising how many questions arise from time to time during dinner or when you relax to add to the knowledge bank.

Children who receive home-based education in Australia are often in the lead when it comes to qualifying later in life. If someone is thinking about it, my advice is to try it. After all, what do you have to lose?

Interesting post! For some reason, I always thought homeschooling was done when people live in isolated places or are traveling for long periods. What you describe makes total sense though!
