BACK TO SCHOOL: Advice for Students & Parents

Having worked in the educational sector for over three decades, twenty as a teacher, I have experienced all the trials and tribulations associated with education systems and establishments.

Whether it was teaching business students at the collegiate level in Canada or middle- and high-school students in China, the common threads became too painfully apparent. Constrictive curriculums, educational publishers pushing textbooks that are mostly garbage, unmotivated students, and so on. The whole system has become highly ineffective and usurped to serve as indoctrination centers that serve the interest of the ruling elite along with all their propaganda, control mechanisms, and other nefarious agendas.

So what to do about it? Of course there is homeschooling, but that is not a feasible option for most. Yesterday, I came across a wonderful video that helps to answer this important question. Its creator gives fantastic advice to youngsters on what they can do within the system.
