Learn Guitar: G Mixolydian
Today we will discuss the fifth mode. A future lesson will discuss spacing which is more illustrative of the essence of each mode and their relationships. This video discusses 3 perspectives, even though there are many perspectives beyond what are discussed here within. The most simple perspective is just which frets to play and which frets not to play. But we do one more complex than that and differentiate the octives.
The G MixoLydian Mode, but from the perspective of C Ionian would use the intervals 5, 6, 7, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Now if we wanted to look at the first interval as, 1, then the intervals would be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, b7, 1, yet another perspective for your consideration.
Another perspective one might choose out of a tool shed if tools are a metaphor to something useful here, would be the recommended fingering for playing a certain mode in a certain key in a certain position upon the surface of some instrument in reference. When trying to make our recommended version 2, thinking that perspectives will be focused on in their own videos.
What everyone thinking? Happy with the progression? Would you like me to include the images used in the video here? I inlcuded all the phots in the original post of this series and will eventually include the files for the spreadsheets holding this stuff.

I wish I could get one guitar and start following your tutorials, though it seems difficult for now. Happy teaching and following your passion @learnguitar
let me know if you get one, or might be able to get you one here soon if I find a guitar producer in your country. Yea the lessons arent super awesome quality yet, and not super organized and made coherent and condensed to minimize irrelevant ramblings. By end of March should have a really good course with hw and everything one needs to learn and/or teach guitar/music theory utilizing this method.
If and when you start learning let me know if you want any help. I hope to eventually set up webcams and free tutoring lessons and stuff!!
Darn it, I didn't realize my SP was so low. Lesson learned :) Thanks again for your huge educational donation to the community!

make a tutorial on chord progression and strumming patterns
plannig to discuss interval progression in the next section, which is a little mores specific than chord progression. Previous videos on what chords to play in C Ionian help dicuss chord progression.
