Income Generating Learning Centre

Hello everyone,

I'm a Steemit newbee so treat me kind.

I'd like to share my idea of how education should look in the future and I think Steemit is a good place for this type of idea to emerge. I'd love to get feedback, suggestions and criticism from this truly open-minded community.

I imagine a small school that has been transformed into an income generating learning centre where the students collectively generate income for the school.

Basically, the students would create their own learning path utilising online educational platforms. For each subject they choose to learn, they would be required to generate questions and then answer those questions or solve a particular problem and present their findings in a digital form. Their research project would then be uploaded to the community for evaluation.

There would be a scale for accuracy, sensibility and validity - the community will then basically score the research project. The students will also be able to earn tokens for their work, which will be a great motivation for learning.

There would be essential life skills classes available as follows: Cooking, gardening, nutrition, animal care, survival.

The teachers will become the facilitators to the learners, assisting them on their learning journey.

This is how I see the future of education.
