Extracurricular Activities as a Student's Creativity

Average in school from elementary to advanced level has developed additional activities outside of the learning process in the classroom that we know one of them as an extracurricular activity. Some of the extracurricular activities that exist in the school include:

Scouting (Scouting, Red Cross, Nature Lovers).
Leadership (Speech and others).
Religious (Maulid Reading, Religious Lecture and Other Islamic Studies).
Sports (Soccer, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and more).
Art (Drama, Poetry or Dance and more).
Skills (Embroidering, Sewing, Diving, Cooking and more).
As well as other self-development activities.

Many extracurricular activities partly mentioned above, it is common nowadays in every school to add these activities beyond regular learning in the afternoon or afternoon. Besides as a form of student creativity development is a vehicle to channel the desire, interest, talent or positive emotions of the students, extracurricular activities can also be functioned as a media proximity of teachers with their students.

Extracurricular activities can also bring us to know more about the advantages and potentials of students who may be in the classroom or during regular study hours are not paid further attention. We may find learners who are quiet and not prominent in learning in the classroom. Every school wants progress and achievement, but many of the schools are too limiting the hopes, desires and positive potential of learners. They are charged with high-value achievement, restrained by strict rules, away from channeling aspirations and interests, or rigid study so that many learners are not trying to stay away from their educators. As a positive alternative, extracurricular activities can reduce the existence of a dividing wall between educators and learners.
