ZeroHedge summmarizes three big challanges facing the college freshmen:

1. Debt
2. Long duration of college education
3. An outdated know-how

Although I tend to agree with ZeroHedge, I have one comment to make.

Recently, college education came under a heavy fire of criticism in the alternative media. Yes, there are many issues here, which let a lot to wish.

However, what about high schools? Are they problem free? Are they wihtout a sin?

I am asking because the last two points from ZeroHedge article (long duration, an outdated know-how) are especially applicable to high school education.
