I like your idea of setting goals based on how many posts you do per week, and/or how many words per day.
My advice to any new user looking for more steem success is the same: At least one high quality post every day. This is an ambitious schedule but IMO the benefits are too good to pass up.
Ambitious, yes but that could easily be a stretch goal. I find creating at leas one quality post on every weekday works well for me. Helps to keep me from getting burnt out.
