Becoming a Professional Teacher

A person is said to be professional if he has the expertise and of course his quality in carrying out the work in his field, as well as for an educator or teacher. A teacher is categorized as a professional if the teacher already has four teacher competencies namely pedagogic competence, professional competence, personality competence and social competence. A teacher must be skilled in teaching and also master the various methods of learning, also have ability to educate well, teachers are also required to have knowledge and mastery of good material that will be taught in the process of learning and teaching interaction and have good character and good manners and can socialize well. If these things already exist in a teacher, then the teacher is said to be a professional teacher.

Professional teacher also have a high spirit and motivation to devote the knowledge they have to learners and never stop learning to develop their skills. Besides, it always develops creative and innovative learning procces and is always looking for the latest information and problem for learning progress. We should have already made the teachers as a profession should really make this as a job we love, because one of the keys to success of a child is also very dependent from a teacher.
