Our School

A school is an institution where the enlightening of a person with the light of education begins. So, as a student, I always tried to get myself admitted in an ideal school. Luckily I got the chance to study at a renowned school in my home district.

The name of my school is Bagacara United High School. A renowned man, Anisur Rahman founded the school. It is one of the best schools in the district of Jessore. The school is situated in a suitable place. It stands at the Junction of four roads. So, the boys and girls of the neighboring village can come to the school easily.

The school is housed in a nice one-storeyed building. It has fifteen rooms. The rooms are spacious with a wide veranda and well ventilated. The Headmasters has a separate room to sit in. There is an office room neighboring to the Headmasters area. Two clerks cover there and continue the document of the school. There is also a teacher's common room where the teacher takes rest after classes and maintain their schedules. There are also a science laboratory, a student's common room, a scouts room, a canteen, a library and gymnasium in our school. Students go to the common room, play indoor games and read newspapers, magazines and other books. The library is very spacious. There is a rich collection of books in the library.

Generally, our school starts at 9 am and end at 5 pm. We stand in the assembly at 8.20 am, take our oath, sing the national anthem. Then our classes start. We get a break of forty-five minutes at 2 pm. At this time we say our Zohar prayer and take lunch or light snacks.

There are about 300 students in our school. Our teachers are well trained. Our Headmaster is very experienced. The other teacher is also qualified. They are kind and sympathetic to us. They solve our problems even after the school time. The school has a big playground. Students play football, volleyball, cricket etc there. Our physical instructor trains us in various games and sports.

The school has a good reputation for results. The results of both J.S.C and S.S.C examination are quite satisfactory. Every year several students get the junior scholarship and many students obtain G.P.A-5 in the S.S.C Examination. Our school is one of the best high school in Jessore District. I am proud of being a student of this school.
