Provincial nomination = 0

Study in Canada = 0

Sibling in Canada = 0

French-language skills = 0

Subtotal Additional points = 0

Grand total = 416. Not going to get PR.

OK. Change bachelor to Masters

Provincial nomination = 0

Job offer = 0

Study in Canada = 0

Sibling in Canada = 0

French-language skills = 0

Subtotal Additional points = 0

Grand total = 456. Bingo.

But what if my language skills are not top end? So I reduced my IELTS scores one level

But let’s say I have a degree but no work experience in my field as I am a new grad. Let’s say no/less than a year work experience because you say it is all about decent education papers.

Newly minted Masters (all other factors same including top IELTS): 431. probably nope.

Newly minted Masters (all other factors same including top IELTS): 446. Good shot.
