LOOSE
... is both a VERB and an ADJECTIVE. As a VERB, it means to release or set free; as an ADJECTIVE, it means not firmly or tightly fixed in place, as in LOOSE tooth.

Example #1: (VERB) Let LOOSE of the dog so it can walk around and enjoy the park.
Example #2: (ADJECTIVE) After my weight loss program all my clothes are too LOOSE to wear.
LOSE
... is a VERB that refers to inability to keep or find something, as in to LOSE a game. In a more positive note, as in to LOSE weight.

Example #1: My life will be worthless if I LOSE you.
Example #2: I LOSE my concentration whenever you look at me.
